Mehdi Shams, is the Cofounder and the President of CRID USA (Center for Robotic Innovation and Development USA). He has more than twenty years of experience in information technology in the United States. He started his career with Microsoft and has worked for many technology giants like Southwestern Bell, (now AT&T), Verizon, Hotels.com, Blue Cross Blue Shield in different capacities. He was the head of PMO (Director) at IPC- Team Health prior to cofounding CRID USA.
Dr. Daniel A. Peak
VP of CRID’s Education Program
Dr. Daniel A. Peak is the VP of CRID’s Education Program. He is also a Professor of Information Technology and Decision Sciences Department at the University of North Texas. A concert pianist with BMus and MMus degrees, he received his MBA and Ph.D. with Information Systems and Finance majors from UNT. He has more than 25 years of executive IT consulting, planning, and project management experience.
Dr. Akhtar Mahmood
Vice President for Research and Innovation
Dr. Akhtar Mahmood serves as CRID’s Vice President for Research and Innovation. He is also a Professor of Physics at Bellarmine and is the Director of the National Science Foundation funded Center for Supercomputing and Visualization. Additionally, he is also the founding Director of the Eureka Learning Community for the STEM students and established the Robotics Lab at Bellarmine University.
VP of Software Development
Shafiul Faisol serves as CRID’s VP of Software Development. He worked extensively on software development, web development, and process improvement. His interests include volunteer activity, sports, and reading.
